Have a little video clip to follow that you can all see, to view this just find us on Facebook ;) Next up was EN1: What a beautiful dive this was! Again nice and blue, very relaxed dive but with lots of life for us to enjoy! We had 2 Leopard Sharks, 1 Hawksbill Turtle, 1 Green Turtle, a Spotted Guitar Shark, 2 Stone Fish, a Leaf Fish and a couple of Crocodile Fish! Amazing day out in the big blue ocean :)

Silky Shark seen on Galleria!!!

What a magical dive we had yesterday on Galleria! Dropping down into the beautiful blue of the warm ocean it didn't take us to long before we had our first sightings, 12 Honeycomb Whiptail Rays all together chilling on the sandy bottom, such beautiful creatures with their incredibly long tails! Next up was another amazing sighting as we had a very impressive Silky Shark (big as well!) come cruising past, what a sight to see! As the dive continued we had a couple more encounters with the ever so graceful Devil Rays, fantastic watching them when they start their "fighter jet" turns below you. Was a super start to the morning and you cant ask for much more than that! :)

Magical Days of Diving!!!

Just to give all you guys an update over the last 3 days of diving, have really had some cracking dives! Friday: A trip out to the North for a Reggies dive, a bit of a chilly bottom but that actually worked to our advantage. Pushed up above the cold water 2 Leopard Sharks and 5 Whitetip Reef Sharks who were pretty much swimming all around us! Not at all finished as we had a further 7 Spotted Eagle Rays come gliding past, MAGIC!!! Saturday: Headed out to a new dive site for the first time, EN1, absolutely fantastic! First dive we had 5 Leopard Sharks, 2 Honeycomb Whiptail Rays and a Hawksbill Turtle, also a huge school of Bat Fish which is always special. Second dive we had again 5 Leopard Sharks, 3 Honeycomb Whiptail Rays, 2 Green Turtles and once again a Hawksbill Turtle, what a beautiful Dive Site! Yesterday: Starting down South with Robs Bottom, a little more quiet but a very beautiful blue visibility, 1 Giant Guitar Shark and a school of Bigeye Trevally. Galleria down for the second, this one had a little more life and we were lucky enough to have a couple of Bottlenose Dolphins cruise in to say hello, Dolphins on a dive are always welcome! Also had another Spotted Eagle Ray pass by, all in all a pretty good couple of beautiful dives over the last few days!!! :)

Bowmouth Guitar Shark on Manta Reef!!!

Amazing dive down South at Manta Reef this morning! Dropping down and spending pretty much most of our dive on the Northern drop point, which was were everything seemed to be. Starting off with a couple of the smaller creatures, 1 White Leaf Fish, a Torpedo Ray, small Octopus and 2 Painted Frog Fish, then we saw a couple of the bigger guys. Starting with a big Bowmouth Guitar Shark who cruised out in front of us, with a smaller Blotched Fantail Ray coming to inspect a bit closer and then lastly a Loggerhead Turtle! Just to end of the dive we had a school of Bat Fish playing around and amongst us on the Safety Stop, really was a beautiful day out this morning :)

Sharks, Sharks and more Sharks!!!

Just an update for a awesome double tank out at Amazon and Oasis yesterday! Starting with Amazon: As we got down to the bottom we were met by a beautiful Leopard Shark, he seemed very relaxed with us and spent a good deal of time chilling around allowing us to watch him close up, after that we had steady encounters of Whitetip Reef Sharks, sometimes up to 3 together and we reckon there were at least 8 in total, getting near to the end of the dive we had the pleasure of watching a Spotted Eagle Ray cruise by, upon ascent just before the safety stop we also had a Devil Ray playing down below us! Great visibility and not a lot of current also helped us out on that first dive! Next up was Oasis: Although the visibility was not as great as our first dive it definitely was the dive of the morning! A very similar situation as our first dive in terms of the Sharks, however this time round we sometimes would have 3-4 Whitetip Reef Sharks to one side with another 2-3 on the other, found a couple of them sleeping on the sandy bottom as well, all in all we would say about 11 different ones! Also had a Grey Reef Shark, 2 Blotched Fantail Rays (one was pretty huge!), a Bowmouth Guitar Shark, a little Leaf Fish and to end off our dive 13 Devil Rays which came around twice! Fantastic day of diving!!! :)
